Vendor

Dear Fair Exhibitor,

August 17th through August 22nd, 2026, are the dates for this year’s award-winning Cumberland County Fair. We hope that you will be a major part of this important community event.

The Fair Association will not rent tents, but local vendors are available who provide tent rentals.

The enclosed Contract and General guidelines spell out most of the information needed for exhibiting; however, there are some additional details that we need to share with you.  All Contracts need to be signed and returned with appropriate payment to the Cumberland County Fair Association Office by Friday, August 7th.  If you have any electrical power needs in addition to general lighting, please let us know what those needs are when your contract is returned. Once we get all the information about what is needed and how many exhibitors there will be, we should have the layout complete and be able to give you specific location for your booth by Friday afternoon, August 14th

Please note: NO VENDING MACHINES will be permitted by any concession booth.  All booths should be completed and ready for the Fair to open on Monday, August 17th at 4:00 p.mThe breaking down of booths is not permitted until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd!

Any exhibitor that sells food products must have product liability insurance.  You may either provide us with a copy of your coverage when you return the contract, or you may purchase this coverage as a rider to the Fair’s insurance for $120.00 per booth.

If you desire coverage in this manner, please add the $120.00 in the insurance space on the contract and include that amount with payment.  We MUST have a certificate of coverage or your money before the fair begins on Monday, August 17th .

Each Exhibit Space will be given 2 Gate Passes as a part of the exhibit fee.  Those using these passes must park in the exhibitor parking area located off Hwy. 70N and enter through Gate 4. There will be NO parking behind your booth spaces.  All vehicles must be removed from the booth area by 3:00 p.m. each day.  If you need to transport additional supplies to your booth during the evening hours, a golf cart or small ATV will be available at prior request to a member of the Fair’s Commercial Exhibit Committee.  Additional weekly passes may be purchased for $20 each.

To avoid duplicate uses of these passes, each pass will be punched daily upon your first entry to the grounds.  If you must leave the grounds, make sure that you have your hand stamped at one of the gates before leaving the grounds or you will be charged for re-entry.

To help all of us to be clear on the expectations and guidelines for this year’s fair, and to give exhibitors an opportunity to have any questions or concerns answered, there will be a meeting for all commercial exhibitors and food booth concessions, on Thursday Afternoon, August 13th beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Fair Association Office, this meeting is not mandatory.

We know that by working together, we can make the 2026 Cumberland County Fair successful for each of you, as well as for the many people who will attend the fair.  If you have questions about any of the details on the contract or as discussed in this letter, please give anyone on the committee listed below a call.  We look forward to working with you.

Sincerely, Cumberland County Fair Association,

Danny Smith 931-335-5145
